Bespoke Audio Visual Systems
At Bedford Electrical we pride ourselves on delivering cost effective, full electrical fit-out solutions or our clients both in the UK and worldwide. A large part of our work involves installation of Audio Visual installations in Hotels, Shops, Restaurants, Offices & Educational Settings.
In recent years, we have been working with a worldwide online retailer in Warehouse fit-outs, developing and installing bespoke Audio Visual stems, PA systems and high speed pick to lighting systems.
Setups for function rooms and meeting spaces
Impactful communications rely on fully integrated, easy to us AV systems. At Bedford Electrical we regularly design and install full audio-visual setups for function rooms and meeting spaces of all sizes, from cosy managers’ offices to larger conference rooms with more complex requirements.
These systems are typically controlled via an intuitive touch panel on a neighbouring desk. Direct inputs are also provided for easy data sharing from laptops and other devices.
With our popular “floating” installations, our engineers prefer to hide cabling in the existing structures or within wall and floor tracks wherever possible to deliver a neater, more contemporary aesthetic. We also use low-profile protective bumper strips to minimise damage to floor-level cable installations. Additional soundbars can also be supplied for premium audio quality.

PA systems
From staff alert systems to powerful amplifiers that deliver high quality audio to acoustically challenging warehouses, distribution centres and other large spaces, Bedford Electrical can supply all manner of PA systems to meet the needs of your space.
In this example the Bedford Electrical Team were given the challenge of supplying a background music system that was within a defined budget, multi-functional and delivered the best possible listening experience to big echoey warehouses. The system we designed gives each site the ability to control the following using a desk-top touch panel:
- Your existing health and safety control measures
- Your safety records and documentation
- The use and condition of onsite equipment
- The use of safety notices, markings and barriers
- The use of correct PPE
- The procedures that are in place to minimise risk from hazardous materials and substances
- Any obvious hazards, including exposed live wires and unnecessary debris
In line with fire regs the system also automatically mutes when a fire alarm is triggered.
We have since gone on to supply these same systems for our client in many UK and EU based locations.
